this piece was done with "junk" fibers...old ugly rick-rack..cords..orphan laces...ect....glued them done on a old table runner and than layered many colors of paint...made the faces with model magic in a mold....I really enjoyed making this....

These are looking good SuZ. I love doing stuff like this - the more layers I can slap on the better. Its turned out really well with the red background and blue highlights - plus a good way to use up 'junk fibres'.

This is great, im a young fashion designer and am just starting to get into fabric manipulation. Are you working on anything new? I am also interested in fabric collage and embroidery and your work has elements of both.
